Got an N97 mini. USB drivers failed to install on connect, Ovi Suite's link to reinstalling is broken. Sometimes I despair for Nokia.

The first Google search result for 'nokia connectivity cable driver' is broken. Nokia is one of the few people capable of changing their URLs faster than Google can crawl them. People who make CMSes that don't make stable URLs should be shot.
Running Nokia's Connectivity Driver Installer with 'repair' leads to 'A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file c:\users\mikie\downloads\nokiaconnectivitydriver_eng.msi'.
Unplugging, rebooting, plugging in, manually uninstalling all the drivers with a warning icon, unplugging and plugging in again fixed it. Should have been obvious.
After disconnecting and reconnecting a couple of times browing the phone through Explorer no longer works. Ovi Suite can't install applications through Nokia Application Installer so the only thing remaining to put apps on the phone is to transfer them in 'Mass storage mode', which in turns requires disconnecting after transfer as you can't use the mass storage on the phone while connected via USB.

When discussing CMSes I often refer to this ancient document.
